Gary Garrison 10 Minute Play Staged Reading at KCACTF

Kale Marie Micheal

Written for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival’s Gary Garrison 10 Minute Play Festival. A mother and daughter discuss their family dynamics and life. This play delves deeply into the “mess up” daughter and the issues that surround a trans-woman’s journey into self-acceptance. This was a staged reading, primarily for playwrights to see their work on its feet and to face any critiques that arise from a production process.
